go 520 battery life

Just got a go 520, so new to sat navs. I have charged and used the 520 a couple of times. I have set up a bluetooth link to my mobile and subscribed to traffic and camera alerts. And I have linked my Ipod to the 520 to play music out through the cars Stereo. All working and easy to set up.

I am currently running it without power in the car, as I am getting a Brodit mount/powered cradle.

The 520 only seems to last for an hour, perhaps 2 tops, running on it's battery. This seems horribly short.

Is this normal? Or might I have a dodgy battery? In which case should I take it back and change it? Or will the battery life get better as it cycles through charge/discharge??

You should get around 5 hours normally, but if you have the FM transmitter or bluetooth turned on, it decreases a lot.
