Hello
Just won a TT720 in the works raffle and would like to add POi's etc and the speed camera database. I had a TT500 GO before and it was easy enough.
Forgive me but can anything be added to the 720 or am i asking a stupid question?
I have looked through all your sticky posts but cannot find anything relevant to the 720. |

The 720 handles Speed Cameras and POIs exactly the same as your old 500.
There are slight differences in how you Warn When Near, but loading them is the same. _________________ Richard

You most certainly can add speed cameras and spoken alerts using either the built in Text To Speech or ogg files, I suggest you have a look at the FAQ page in the stickys at the top of this forum index, number 1 is vital, back it all up BEFORE you start messing around.
Adding POI or configuring the speed camera warnings is the same for all TomTom products, for some advice on using the TTS for warnings have a read of the setup guide for the 910.
You might want to look at the custom cursor collection we have on the site and any of the other POI files to enhance the device, nice prize by the way - Mike |
