Has anyone managed to stream audio from a mobile phone to a TomTom GO 720 via the A2DP bluetooth profile? I have a Sony Ericsson W80i with A2DP capabilities, but haven't been able to get this working. Hands-free calling is working fine though. I know my phone isn't officially supported, but all phones that comply to the general bluetooth standard should really work. Copying of the phone book isn't working either... _________________ TomTom GO720T: App ver 8.351(9982/090518), OS:315187, GPS v1.20, Boot 5.5120

You can get audio out from the x10 / x20 devices via A2DP Bluetooth but I don't think the device will accept incomming audio via this connection.
If your phone book is a problem can you export it from the phone to your PC?
if so there is an Excel spreadsheet file available on this sites downloads section that might help you create the required file to get the phone book on the TomTom, its not ideal but it does work when the automated system fails - Mike |

The problem is there are so many BT profiles around - and phone manufacturers 'tweak' them to support their brand of devices etc.
I have the address book problem with my Nokia N80. It wouldn't transfer them automatically. There is an option on the N80 to select (MARK) all contacts then transfer them using BT (or IR or MMS). This worked a charm. _________________ Phil |
