Have a read of the FAQs Page.
Pay particular attention to Number 1, as this is most important.
For Speed Cameras you need number 4. The Links will explain in Detail about the different Setups. As an aside, I would recommend the OV2 version over the HOME version.
All of the Links are worth following to answer most questions you may have. Any more then come back and ask.
Do a Search for 'XL' and there are some 50 Topics returned, some of which will help you get the best out of your XL _________________ Richard

i have read #4 all TomTom GO models, i.e. Original, 300, 500, and 700. This also includes the TomTom Rider and One.

Yes, the TomTom download covers EVERY model as they all use the same format. _________________ Darren Griffin |

HaHa.. Sorry, that's the problem when new models keep coming out - its nearly impossible to keep every help file up to date with new model names.
Rest assured that all TomToms use pretty much the same software, so everything will work the same for every model. Where there ARE any differences that have been noticed (extra features or occasionally missing ones), then they will be pointed out specifically.
Certainly, for camera files and other Points of Interest files, every version works on every machine.
The different versions are just there to give YOU the choice of how much detail you want to be shown about camera types and speeds. Every version has exactly the same total number of cameras included.
EDIT - To slow! Beaten to the reply by Darren this time (usually its Oldboy!) |
