Just picked one of these up, I was going to buy the 270 for around £190, but for not a lot more this model seems to be better value. Includes AC, USB cable, carry case, Bluetooth, MP3, Trafficmaster and Speaking the road names - all features which are not on the 270.

Maps are Europe V9 and USA V8. When I registered, the web site offered me a free update for the USA maps.

Should I ask Garmin for an update to the Europe V9 maps - would they give me V10 (free) if I asked?

So far I am pleased with the price/features. Any tips out there (other than updating the software to latest levels)?

Is it possible to playback MP3s at the same time as navigating with the GPS?

It wasn't in stock on the Currys website but I found a store with it in (reserve and collect) not too far away.

Update : They are in stock online now (currys) and at PC world.

I am slightly peeved as I have a 5% discount code for online use.
