NNNOOOOOOooooo!!!!!!
OK. Nokia have steadily been doing a M$ on their mobile phones with the N95 firmware...
With the N95 running v11 the phone works great. Bluetooth devices pick it up, disconnect, reconnect, data works fine etc. No problems.
Then came v12... v12 introduced the new 'feature' your friend has found. After you use the bluetooth, you then have to reboot the phone befor eyou can use it again. In fact sometimes you have to reboot the phone before you can receive calls successfully...
Then they improved the phone further with v20. Now the TT720 can't connect to the phone at all for either voice OR data. Voice just can't even dial. data just spits the dummy & prompts to doit manually which also doesn't work.
I've had a support call into Nokia... They're not really interested. And you can't reinstall v11 either. Sodding thing is going to go out the window soon here. I rased a call with TT too... They admint it's not supported, but as it's a popular phone, they'll try & look at it soon... But considering it USED to work and nokia have now broken it I don't hold out much hope... |

It is possible to downgrade the firmware on the N95. Just take it to any decent independent unlocking / repair shop, they should be able to do it for you. |

Just incase you have'nt seen the problems i was having with bluetooth and hands-free, TT advised me to install the Cleaf Flash tool and it worked for me. I am not sure it will help you but it might be worth a try. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

yea just follow pauls link. Just remember to do a factory reset as soon as you have installed the clear flash tool as you might still have problems if you dont. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
