Help, with Viamichelin 960

Hi
I got the new upgrade from 6.5 to 7 and I stupidly deleted the data on my sd card not sure how. Active sync sees the device but the viamichelin software does not, so now my device is dead it will not do anything. Does anyone have a backup of the sd card for 6.5. Or help me get mine back to it's original state? I stupidly did not back up, I know I know! I have also tried soft and hard resets.

From the DVD that came with v6 you can do an SD card restore

The V7 Content Manager has an 'SD Card restore' option , can you not use that ?

Hi

If i try and used load v7 it says I need the previous v6.5 to be installed so no I cannot use it at all.

I think the only way your going to be able to resolve this is to contact Tech Support for a replacement SD card as the SD card data is required to activate the software. If you now have a blank SD card and no previous copy of the software installed you are a little stuck.

Do you know a speedier was of getting my sd card up and running. I am still awaiting support.

Did you buy the VM without a disk? If you still have the v6 can't you reinstall that, restore your card and then do a v7 update?

Otherwise, just a desperate leap in the dark - I haven't ever tried it (and I'm not going to!) so it's probably a silly idea, but is it possible that your deleted SD files went in the recycle bin on the PC?

Hi

No files in the recycle bin alas. That would have solved it all. The SD card is black now. The system crashed during the upgrade and I think that it nuked the sd card. This is so frustrating as I cannot use my device at all. and there is no way to get a back up sd card! There must be a solution. Suport are still gettting back to me. It's been 3 days!

Anyone your help would be much appreciated. Does anyone know where I can get a back up sd card to download so that I can get back and running?
