Do they arrive as POI.zip?
If so that's normal.
You need to unzip the file to get the OV2 files. |

The filename you download from the site will normally be POIs.zip.
You will need to unzip the file (using something like WinZip if you have a Microsoft Windows PC or Stuffit (I think) if you have a Mac PC).
The zip file once unzipped should contain either a number of .bmp and ov2 files, if you've opted for a combined file then you will have one .bmp and one .ov2 file.
Hope that helps. |

Try downloading a single POI category to your PC and open it, this should unzip to reveal a .ov2 file (the POI locations data) and a .bmp file (the icon)
If the above works, keep your dowload selections to less than 22 sub categories in any single download - Mike |

ok got them to work but only individually
Tankyou for your help.....
However how can I create a category for instance
At the moment for example argos, bhs, costco are all seperated ?
how can I but them into a category and have them idividually display under one group and still keep the individual icons.
for example
shopping and have argos, bhs, costco all listed seperatly with there icons.
thanks in advance |

I used POI Edit
But you can only have 1 icon per category
At the moment I can only put the shopping under one category such as shopping and have one icon for all shops within it?
It would be nice to have for instance
Shopping -
agros to show argos icon
bhs to show bhs icon
costco to show costco icon
etc |

Sorry, didn't read your post carefully enough.
Simple answer is you can't.
It's one icon per category. |
