Greetings All ...... Help / Advice Please!
I have TT Nav6 installed on a Palm Treo, can I de-register this with TomTom, and then re-register on another phone/pda. If this can be done how? (idiot's guide) ..... because, you know how helpful TomTom can be via Email & phone!
Thanks....... |

If you have only ever installed once then you can install again ao long as 7 days has passed since the first install. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren & thanks, but am I being thick!! ....... well look at the username!!
So what you are saying is, every 7 days I could go in to TT Home, and install the same (TT N6) in the usual way, but for another device. |

No...you will have to wait 6 months for the next install. TT allows 2 registrations every 6 months...as long as those 2 registrations are at least a week apart. _________________ Paul

No No. The activation system allows the initial install, then a second on a different device after 7 days has passed and a third after 180 days has passed.
This system prevents people installing multiple copies contrary to the licence agreement. _________________ Darren Griffin |
