TomTom 520, Vista and UAC problem

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere (I did do a search first) but is it a known issue that when you connect the TomTom device to a PC, Vista displays a user access control (UAC) message which I have to "allow" every time I hook my TomTom up? The program it tries to fire up when I connect the tomtom is "installtomtomhome.exe".

Tomtom tech support are saying it's a firewall issue - nonesense, as disabling the firewall makes no difference.

If everyone else out there has to suffer this then I will return to my hideaway and suffer in silence (even though my opinion of tomtom has gone down considerably now).

I could disable UAC altogether but would rather it not do this.
