hi does anyone know if you can use gif files instead of bmp files for poi alerts on ttone v2

Don't have a One XL but I'd think it would be the same on all models.

It seems you CAN use gifs for the car cursors on the x20 models, but I just replaced the PGPSW "redlight" icon with a gif version of the same and it is showing up as a red box, so no... unless I'm missing something.

been trying for a while now to convert the "boring" bmps into something a little more interesting, but as you have said i also just get the red box, been trying to get the icons to flash
