Help please,

I have downloaded the POI for LPG fuelling three times to my Tom Tom One, and each time when i disconnect and restart, have a logo for lpg as POI but when I request navigate to POI lpg, Tom Tom says "no POI found". Doesn't downloading the POI mean it should now be available on my Tom Tom?

Have I missed something ? Are there idiot steps I've not found?

Welcome to the forum, did you download the LPG POI file from This Page? - if so there should be 1256 locations within it.

Once you have the download you need to unzip the files within which will reveal two files an ov2 file (the locations) and a bmp file (the icon) - both of these need to be placed into your map folder on the TomTom.

With the files in place start the TomTom One and select Navigate To/ Point of Interest/ POI Near you (or near Home) then select the LPG POI category from the list (tap the right arrow to reveal the full list) and it should then display a list of LPG stations on the screen

From what you have said it sounds like you have followed the above though, perhaps you can check through it again to make sure, which TomTom One have you got? - is it the new Third Edition per chance? - Mike

Yes I had downloaded from this site, and no, my Sat Nav is not ultra modern I guess it's about a year old... I could not recall how I moved the files from desktop onto my TTHome, I got really stuck mid- afternoon, and despaired that I would never be able to find filling stations... then came back to it and clicked on the zipped file on desktop and "sent to" Tom Tom Home- then it really did download.
I found I had three LPG icons- one with no entries, one with calor gas cylinder retailers and the third was the filling stations I needed. LPG filling stations can be few and far between- this is a brilliant POI. Thanks for your help.
Freyasmum.
Very Happy
