Hi,
Sorry if this has been covered before but i'm having problems with switching my TomTom Go510. I used it Wednesday night and noticed it needed charging, so put it on charge for a bit on Friday. I came to switch it on Friday night and it wouldn't switch on, then i tried again on Saturday and it still wouldn't switch on. Could anyone shed any light on what the problem may be and how to fix it please??
John. |

First thing (once it has had a FULL charge) is press the reset button with a small paper clip.
(Where to find it) |

No. All it does is actually turn the unit off (When you "turn it off" you are really just putting it to sleep, the program is still loaded). this is like re-booting your PC, all your files are still there.
Some people have to re-boot quite frequently! |

Thanks for the help. Just tried it and it worked. I'll keep it in mind if it ever happens again. Thanks again. |

I even keep a safety pin (with the end filed flat) pinned to my Go's case! |
