Here is the super poll I promised, and if a modN feels it needs to be moved to the news section, and on the front page then please feel free.
"Do you feel you know it all about GPS?Oowned a few cool products? Read everything about everything to do with satilite Navigation?
Well, compare yourselve with the other geeks here, are you as good as you say you are???"
Will run for two weeks, and please tell the truth. Lieing leads to an inaccurate poll. _________________ Dom

Used many but only owned one.
After a train has travelled from London to Glasgow, is it still a Virgin? _________________ Andy

that could be why they don't get re-branded then
this reminds me of a time some years ago when a teenager had his face painted...he told the guy that his dad was a pilot with Virgin.
For maximum embarrassment, instead of the face painter giving him the "Fly Virgin" logo as it was then, he painted "I'm a Virgin" on this poor kid's face - where, of course, he couldn't see it himself...but he soon ran to wash it off when he found out _________________ Andy

I'd need a 5.5, as I'm between the two. |

I'm a definite geek. I'm not sure of the exact count, but I think I must be up to at least 13 by now. 5 of which are still in regular use, 2 daily. _________________ Kam |

I answered 2-5. But I've suddenly realised that's not quite accurate. I think I really must count the five I've bought and returned - I did own them after all. Plus, my memory isn't as good as you lot. So my true answer is 11. All Tom Tom GOs of the x00, x10 and x20 models.
I'd like to add that in spite of the sundry troubles, I've been glad to own them - the first was my true love of course, a GO300. The mate who bought it from me STILL hasn't used the reset button and I never did either. I should have stayed with Windows 3.11 too.
And so off to vote again. Sorry, Dom - it wasn't a lie, just a senior moment. Forgive me and I'll buy you a bear at the next PGPSW show. AND I'll see if I can switch on my 710 during the flight to Corfu to do a screen shot of my pathetic high speed record (record as in photo, not record as in yippee). _________________ Dennis
