I deliberately held back from buying a 720 to see how much they had rushed it out before the motoring holiday season was over.
I have read most of the reports on here, and am now wondering how long to wait before TomTom sorts the vast majority of problems out and either updated software or updated hardware is available.
What do you experienced TomTom watchers reckon? Sarcastic replies not permitted :-)

I shall wait a bit longer aswell...My son is waiting to buy my TTG 500 off of me together with my Navman F30. Maybe he will have to wait a bit longer. So will the 520 be worth waiting for instead, all the problems should have been sorted by the time its on sale.

That problem seems to be caused by this latest Navcore download (7.01.8290). If you revert back to 7.00.8286, the problem goes away. |

It's already out and er....... no...... it currently suffers from the same issues as the 720. |

Thanks for the update Skwark..Nobody has mention it on here yet, so I assumed that one one had one yet. My mistake. |

They did do a quick fix replacement on the x10 droppy mount problem but that was designed by another company, RAM.
They haven't solved the non-working x10 RDS-TMC and it seems they never will.
They seem increasing desparate this time around as Dennis said
"TWO WEEKS for four software versions and three firmwares. HALLO??" |
