Just tried to turn my TT700 on and nothing, plugged the adpter in and the green light came on but still will not power up, any idea what this is

Press reset for ages - 10, 20, 30 seconds. Then press and hold power switch for ages (until it comes on). I hope!

My Tomtom 700 likes to play this game every now and then too.
Just keep at the reset button and it should get you back in.

I actually always carry a safety pin in my ttbag now, as a contingency to overcome this problem just in case.

On a similar note, ive noticed mine now doesnt seem to like connecting to the computer very much, i dont always get the Do you want to connect message come up when i plug in the usb lead. Wheather or not this is in relation to my recent temporary upgrade to the TT720 i dont know.

Thanks the reset button worked.

I could not remember how much charge was in the battery the last time I used it, because my mates TT300 did this when he let it go flat and once on charge for a bit, it would power up ok
