TomTom ONE map locking

I discovered (after the event) that the SD card map locks to the first device it is inserted into and cant be used in another device - big problem as I put it into a friend's TomTom One before mine! - is there any way of unlocking the map or working around the problem - upload map to computer and download to new card or whatever?

Any suggestions appreciated!

No - just put it in and turned it on. Thought maps on SD cards were interchangeable - but they apparenatly 'lock' - term used by the TT help line - to the first device they are used in!
