Converting Symbian OS to Garmin NUVI ??

Hi All

I'm a Beginner so please forgive any gross stupidities

I shall be travelling to Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro in September
with my trusty NUVI 350 but without suitable mapping software

I have found a site which offers - FREE - downloads for these and many other countries. Unfortunately this mapping software is the SYMBIAN OS

Is it possible to somehow convert the Symbian OS to a format that would be usable on the Garmin Nuvi? (Hope that wasn't too silly )

Advice would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, not possible. Not so much a OS problem but the map formats are incompatible by design - vendors tend to want to make money off the maps.

Thanks for your help. So there's no magic lamp to rub to change
the ogf2 format to something readable by the Garmin NUVI

I thought things were going too well!
