USA maps

Just bought the North American maps for my Garmin i3. But it comes up on the screen "can't load maps" is it just because i'm not in America? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you entered the unlock code for the mapping

When you bought the maps you'll have been given a 25 digit code which MapSource will ask for.

What maps do you have and where did you get them from?

Bought it from ebay! in the procees of contacting seller to get code.

It's not a disc Paul its a card and an adapter card.
I paid £25 which I thought if it works would be well worth it.
I've been onto Garmin and they reckon it should just work.
I think I might have been done, what do you think?
