I have just got my 520 and even though it accepts phone calls it will not accept messages( the settings for messages are greyed out)Please can anyone help.Thank-you.Mark.

It might be your phone. My 720 has the ability to receive and read aloud text messages but this isn't a function which is compatible with my samsung d600. It's not the 720's fault, it's the phones fault. This works fine on my wifes phone but mine just don't cut the mustard.
Check the tomtom site to see how compatible your phone is with the unit.
