Hi I am new the the forum.

I just purchased a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx to use for my Offroading adventures. I would also like to use it for work as I drive a bigrig.

My question is about software, I see Garmin has Garmin MapSource City Navigator - North America - Version 8 & Garmin MetroGuide North America DVD. What is the difference between the two?

If nothing has changed, CN provides automatic routing and rerouting on the device (if the device itself supports that function) whereas Metroguide doesn't. That will be the main difference.
