Right, definatly needing some help here!!
Have purchased tomtom navigator 6 and am trying to work out how to install the software onto an o2 xda orbit.
There isnt a micro sd card in the pack, im aware that it is possible to install the software onto the phone from the dvd. Do this by installing it onto your pc and then transfer to the phone via activesync. Is this possible? if so, i really have no idea how to get this done, can anyone help? |

You must have a memory card for the map to reside on, there is insufficiant memory on the device to install the map to, have you got a memory card fitted? if so what is the spare capacity? - Mike |

Install your map to the memory card along with at least one voice and postcode file, TomTom Home should assist with this, if you don't have the latest TomTom Home application on your PC download and install it from Here - Mike |

Copy the contents of the supplied memory card to the Micro SD, its much easier and reliable to do this using a card reader via the PC rather than messing around using Active Sync.
Have a read through This which details copying the memory card to a larger (or in your case different card) - Mike |
