Deleting NUVI 360T Phone Book

I have a Nuvi 360T and successfully (manually) transfered phone number entries from my Orange SPV to it. The numbers have changed. When I update the number on the SPV and transfer it to the nuvi, it creates a completely new entry on the nuvi - it does NOT update the old entry - even though the person name is the same. How can I delete a phone book entry from the nuvi ??

Only way I found to do this is to delete the phone from the list - pair it up again and then resend the contacts list from the phone.

However my new phone (Nokia N72) uses OBEX over BT to do this and requires a small app running on the phone (DownloadManager). This seems to keep the phone list updated on the nuvi each time the phone connects.
