I used my tomtom one in the dark the other day and to be honest the night setting is hard to follow ,,,am i right? or am i right? |

What scheme? There's lots to choose from.
Though having said that... for my chosen colour scheme (GBNew), I don't like the way that the text changes from black with a white outline to white with black outline when you go to teh night setting. So I never bother, I just stay on day colours with the brightness turned down low. |

On my GO710 I use the same colour scheme that I'm accustomed to in daylight, but with the nighttime brightness setting much less. I haven't done a lot of night driving recently, but I remember when I first had to deal with this problem, I experimented a lot to get something I was comfortable with. _________________ Dennis

I downloaded a free scheme from the colorscheme editor site - it's called "golf" and is supposed to match the night time instuments on a VW.
I like it 'cos it uses muted blues for the map and still has a red route to follow - is turn the brightness down to about 10 or 15% from memory:
