I have TTN5 on 2210.
I upgraded to the TTN6 maps (my 2210 will not take the actual TTN6 software) and this works fine.
HOWEVER because TTN5 runs with a separate map for each European country it has a separate set of 'favourites' for each country. TTN6 operates only one map for the whole of Europe and appears to have only one set of favourites.
My set-up therefore shows only my GB favourites. How can I add my French favourites to the Western_Europe.cfg file? I have saved the France_map.cfg file and I can see the places in it if I open it with PoiEdit but I cannot work out how to do anything with them. Really I need to be able to add together the Western_Europe.cfg file to the France_map.cfg file.
Any suggestions gratefully appreciated. |

You should be able to do this using POIEdit, open the first file then use File/ Append to concatenate the two files. Once complete File/ Save As will produce your single file comprising of both sets of favs, Note it will be in POI format (save as ov2) for the TomTom device, add this to your map folder and use it - Mike |

Which Wednesday Mike? Sorry | Which month? | It's getting to be like Tom Tom promising maps last year "Q2". "Q3", "Soon". And when it eventually does arrive, I expect it'll be said to be the most recent, but everybody will find that some stuff has been missed off, like rivers, roads, railways, screen, ON button and screws to take it apart and look at its insides with. He'll have got himself a pokeful of pig!! :D _________________ Dennis

Is it one of these? Is there a prize for guessing? _________________ Jock

BGF wrote: | Is there a prize for guessing? | Nope I only added the sig to see if anyone actually reads them! - obviously a few people do, anyway assuming this turns up before I leave for the Lake District I will take it with me and see how it performs.
I will order the "special" sun glasses that go with the new toy next week when I get back - Mike |
