Setting warning distances

I understand that it is possible to use Ash's Camera software to change the warning time on a nuvi. However I gather there are problems when trying to use this program in conjunction with custom sound files so my question is:

Can the warning distance/time be changed separately for each camera type whilst keeping custom sound files?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. On a separate note, thanks for a great site! :D

Sorry - I should have made it clear that I'd like to be able to use the speed zoned files and change the warning times/distances.
