|
|
Hi,
Each time the Speed Camera updates for TomTom are available on this website I download them. Have always downloaded TomTom Home, never had a problem. But with May I get this uncompress error, tried downloading again and again. Gave up and used the OV2 ones with no problem. Has anyone else had the problem with the TomTom Home files?

I've got the error too.
I downloaded it yesterday and I think about 25% of the cameras were corrupt - they're not as POIs on tom tom but are clearly in tom tom folder, tried re-downloading it today and it's not extracting at all.
If you could PM me when fixed will be grateful.
Thanks |

Could we have a little more detail please.
What was the error? At what point do you get the error?
Which Files are you downloading?
It all helps to give an answer. _________________ Richard

When extracting consolidated type to folder so I can then copy into my tom tom folder I get this.
\Desktop\speed camera\pocketgpsworld_standard_files.cab: The archive is corrupt
When I downloaded it last night I had no problems, all extracted ok and copied over to tomtom folder ok. When looking at POIs on tomtom I noticed several cameras were missing but they were actually in the folder on the Tomtom hard drive like they should be - the tomtom can't have recognised them as POIs, I've assumed they have an error too?? - I have a 910. |

cpk1980 - you have appeared to download the database for TomTom Home which is installed using the TomTom Home application on the PC, if you just want ov2 files you can download the database again, but this time make sure you select TomTom OV2 instead - Mike |
