|
|
Hi guys,
Just a quickie please, Last week I bought my dad a TT 510 and before I had time to backup his SD card or anything, he was out and about using the thing.
Which is all well and good, but he has now lost the SD card!
What's the way to go about getting this? Does anybody have a backup I could purchase on a SD card? or do I need to get via the TT guys.
Thanks a load of any info you can give me.
Thomas

I think you would be better off talking to TT. Have you receipt, etc. to hand.
A copy of someone elses Map, besides being against the T & C's, is not going to help either of you in the long term. _________________ Richard

If you read the licence agreement you will find that you bought a licence to use a COPY of the map. You did not buy the map.
So, tomtom should provide another copy at a nominal handling fee. But TT may have other ideas, you may need to persist through the first line of their defence. Try a phone call first 0845 161 0009. You will certainly need the proof of purchase. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
