Hi All
New to this forum.
I have heard that there a freeware add on that allows you to use your Pocket PC contacts addresses to be used to plot routes?
Appreciate it if someone could send me a link to the software
Thanks |

Not sure what you are referring to. But normally that functionality is already included in TomTom. You just have to negotiate the address with TomTom - it will not navigate to your contacts if their address is not exactly as TomTom knows it. _________________ Lutz

Is there a template for how TT2 sees the address and how do you then navigate to that address through TT2

No, it is more hit and miss. It is different for each address. "Simply" search for that address on the TomTom map and then look how TomTom thinks it should be named. This way of writing the address needs to be duplicated into the contact.
Sounds like world domination? yep... _________________ Lutz

The system is not that smart, it just wants to dominate
Ignore the Contacts for a second. go to TomTom, find the location that you are looking for, and then note down how TomTom writes it.
Now go to your contact (directly, not from TomTom), and adjust the street address to the way TomTom writes it - letter by letter!
Then go back to TomTom and try to route to the contact, or try doing this from the contact menu directly. If it still doesn't work, check the spelling. And then check it again. And again ;-) _________________ Lutz

...or resign yourself to the fact that it doesn't really work all that well yet.
