Hi.........had my Navman a few Months now...........wont drive without it :D
Its not just the ability to get from A to B, but has accurate Speedometer/time of arrivals/ Road names...perfect for informing authorities, should you break down, or involved/ assisting with accidents? Worth every £?
Just installed the Basemaps from Disk 1-3 Europe and noticed that there was not enough iCN memory, so have deleted 6 sound/speech files.
As a test, I set a long route from Scotland to Germany! Unfortunately, navman runs out of memory, so breaking the journey into two legs, 2nd leg from Dover, all seems well.
Hope this helps anyone trying to install the Basemaps?
Take care _________________ Device:TOMTOM START 52 & SNOOPER 3ZERO
Take care, keep your eyes on the road, not the navigator?

Guys my Son has kindly passed onto me for nothing a Navman ICN 610, he replaced it a number of years ago with a PDA with Tom Tom. Unfortunately it comes to keeping instruction books and software he wasn't at the front of the queue when organisation was given out . He promises he will come across it for me but to be honest I think there is little chance. :P
My questions are.
Can I change the time without the software, its about 30 mins slow?
Should I be able to set the unit to show ETA for the journey?
Where is the setting to show the speed you are going.
Sorry for all these basic questions but have searched the Internet for a manual, I thought I found one on Navman site but link didn't work.
Thanks in anticipation

Its been a while since I got rid of my old icn5** but I think the settings are similar. The time clock is based on your satilite connection and therefore in the settings there is a local time offset setting allowing you to add a correction. As for your speed, it is with all the options displayed at the corner of the screen where you see the eta, distance to turn etc. I think you press either left & right buttons or up & down when on route. Sorry, been a while.
Online Navman manuals Here. All inc6** are similar. _________________ Dom

Thanks a lot Dom for your reply, I'll have another play with it, thought I'd done what you suggested but as I say I am not that familar so maybe I missed it.
Also I will check out the manual from the link you sent.
Many thanks once again
