Please can anyone help. I have downloaded the safety camera database for tomtom navigator5. I run this on a HP Piaq 1940. I have followed the install ionfo to the latter but i am unable to find the safety camera data manage POI - enable/disable POI...
they are all on athe SD card .. but it apperas that the softwaere wont "see" the info..
Any suggestions on where im going wrong? |

As you are using TTN5 there is a limit of 39 POI Categories. Have you exceeded this limitation?
The Menu Selection you want is Change Preferences | Manage POI | Warn When Near.
I wouldn't use the Enable POI Function because this will slow down the Map Redraw.;) _________________ Richard

Thanks for the information, but i understand that safety camera should be shown the categories ready for you to select... is this correct. I currently only have 3 categories selected... but can not see the safety camera categories... |

It's not a matter of how many you have enabled, but how many exist on the system.
If you have copied more than the maximum for that software version onto your unit, then they simply don't show up in order to *be* enabled or disabled.
Might be worth investing in a new map, because AFAIK you get a free copy of Navigator 6 with them, and its gone up to 100 for that version. |
