Hi just a quick post . Have just updated my navman 520 with the tomtom one v2 .So the question is have i done the right thing ?, and is there any thing about the tomtom i should know,ie operating tips or known problems etc

The most important thing is to do a Full Backup before you change/add anything.

There is only one copy of the Map, and it's on the SD Card. Lose that, and it can be a prolonged process to get it back. ;)

Have a look at the FAQs Page here.

#1 and #2 are certainly important reading. Go through any of the others that are relevant to you. Take your time. It will make learning about, and using, your new Device less frustrating. Smile

In addition to the good advice given to you by Richard, I would suggest that in addition to doing a backup you get another SD card and restore the backup to this new card (1 or 2 gig), then put the original card away somewhere safe.
Only ever use the original card to make another 'working' card should the need arise.

Ah , so no maps supplied on disc , just ordered myself a new SD card and will backup before the speed cams are installed. Cheers Laughing
