Depends what you mean by "verified", Max...
If you were the first to submit it, you will have to wait until either a second report from a subscriber comes in, or one of the verifiers visits it.
If you were not the first, then your submission will become the verification so it would go "live"as soon as MaFt gets to it. |

I submitted one and it took a few weeks to verify it's location.
I guess it depends on if when one of the verifiers is in the area. _________________ Gone fishing! |

Thanks MaFt,
I think some people must have submitted them before they were actually in situ, never mind as long as they are logged.

You've gotta get up early Max and get back to your computer quick! I submitted the average speed cameras on the M4 at Membury last year when the men were still digging the holes. I just knew I was first. Then that guy told me I was about 91st!!
BUT .... Thank you for submitting it. One day it might be the one I drive past and (as with all of them on this site's downloads) I shall nod a little acknowledgement to all the people who send them in. Good luck with your next sighting. _________________ Dennis

I noticed my camera location when they laid the strips in the road. I submitted it a couple of days after they painted the lines on the road.
Free memberships DO get given out but I guess you have to be pretty quick these days. Keep up the good work though folks! _________________ Gone fishing! |

Any chance you can let me know if I was the first to submit the two new monitrons near Kirkby Lonsdale on the A65?
If not, out of interest, when was it first submitted?
Many thanks, great product! |

Listen, I don't want to be picky or critical, but if you will allow me to say so, I would much prefer the people at PGPSW to deal with updates than to get caught up answering questions as to when a new report was made - from what they say, the several cameras referred to by the OP each got 10 reports - I presume (because it's plural) there were at least two cameras = at least 20 submissions. If he starts replying to each submitter as to when "their" camera will get into the DB, or when it was first reported, he'll end up dealing with five cameras a day instead of 25 - it takes me quite a few minutes to fill in the submission page for just one camera and he must have to do more than I do. Just imagine it takes him 5 minutes to deal with one camera, that would be say 10 an hour (5 if he's got a bladder like mine!!). That's just guesswork on my part, I've absolutely no idea what work is involved, I'm just thinking it's much more than simply ticking a box. As to whether "you" were the first to report, the answer will come in time - if yes, the answer is "Congratulations, you've won a free lifetime subscription." If not, you'll see the camera appear on the DB and know that you weren't first. I notice each time there's an update issue that round about 25 new subscriptions are awarded to first timers - I have no doubt it happens and isn't a pipe dream.
PLEASE - No offense intended to anybody, I just want to put a little perspective into the picture. After all, I'm keen for my local mobile camera I asked to be moved last night to be moved sooner rather than later. _________________ Dennis
