... and they are not "KGB" maps, they are Russian military maps or as they are called in Russia General Staff maps. They've been available for download from various sites on "runet" (i.e. RUssian interNET) for quite some time. |

Agreed, but does anyone remember a Big Brother contestant and East Angula (sic)?
Judging by some of the complaints levelled against the assistance given by sat-navs (and I am not even going to go there - this time!) I think that there may be a significant number of geographically challenged members of the population.
But in the other hand, perhaps it is like the majority of competitions these days, make it easy to get you to enter - usually for your money on a premium rate phone line. While I obviously don't know the reasons in this situation, I can't but wonder if it is for (valuable) personal details - even a valid e-mail address on its own has value. |
