Hi, I'm having some problems adding favourties to tomtom 6. With v5 I used to "browse map", then "use cursor", and "add favourite", then I'd name the favourite, and navigate to it as required.
For some reason, in version 6, I go through this same process, but the favourite that's added isn't' where I chose on the map - it seems to be picking the nearest city centre.
Has anyone else experienced this? is there a better way to add a favourite?

I'm using 6.010 on a Nokia N80.
Thanks,
Dave.
When browsing the map, find the place you want to add (as favorite or POI), then select "Show Info". At this point you can select "use cursor" and "add favourite" (or POI), name the favourite and you're done ;)

I've had similar problems as well (iPaq hw6915, TT6). Got to the point where I don't bother with favourites any more: I merely add them as custom POIs (friends & Family, waypoints, etc). Much more reliable!
