One upgrade? Problems connecting.

I have just got a One Europe (6.501 1343). If I connect to Plus services and check for an upgrade via my phone, it says the is one (6.56 7914) and that I should connect to Home and get it. When I try to upgrade by Home, it just tells me I have a connection error. Can anyone help?

I have the most up to date version of Home, running on an up to date XP SP2 PC. I'm using the standard XP firewall (but get the same error even if I switch it off).

I'm using always on broadband. When I try to upgrade, if I put in the wrong TomTom username/password, it tells me they are invalid - so I seem to have made contact with the TomTom server.

But if I then put in the right username and password (tested by logging into their site) it just says connection error again.

I'd be extremely grateful for any suggestions
