nuvi 660and larger vehicles

Hi,

I am thinking of buying the nuvi 660 as I believe you can set it for what type of vehicle you are. BUT--does this mean it knows you are a bus or lorry and not send you down daft roads?

Apparently changing the vehicle type adjusts the estimated arrival time but not the route.
