Before I go and take my 910 back (which will * me off as I've got a couple of custom voices and all the poi's I need setup) can someone let me know if this is a usual problem...
Issue 1: Turning on yesterday after being docked to PC and a route planned at my PC it wouldn't turn on past the 'white' screen - pin stuck in reset hole cured this.
Issue 2: Docked for a few hours this morning to fully recharge it. Undocked it and went to turn it on.... unit won't turn on, no indication even of trying to turn on.
I'm really tempted to take the unit back as defective - I can live the with the odd lockup (issue 1) as no computer system is ever going to be crash proof but so far (only owning the unit since Wednesday) I'm beyond my tolerance levels... |

When you reset using the pin, does the power/charge LED illuminate briefly? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yep - but then after restoring it, undocking about 20 mins later and trying to turn it on gave the same symptoms... |

There was a hardware issue that affected some 910's. Resets would make no difference, no display, no charge light on power but the charge light would illuminate briefly when a reset was initiated. If this is the case then it's dead and requires replacement. _________________ Darren Griffin |
