|
|
Hi,
I have just got my V9 CD and went through the process of installing Mapsource and unlocking the maps - got a free upgrade to the whole europe instead of just GB and Ireland which was nice
However, when I create a mapset for GB and Ireland and send it to the I3 which it detects OK, I get the error "The required memory for storing maps is missing from your GPS".
Mine is a new one with internal memory only. I have hard reset the thing to remove all POIs, and cut the mapset down to ireland only to test but same error every time.
Any suggestions ?

Not enough on board memory. Why not stick the UK eire maps on the internal and buy a card for europe? |

I was only trying to upload GB and Ireland, and even tried Ireland only. Same message each time. |

Phone Garmin. They're very helpful, but be prepared to stay on hold for 10 minutes or more, as they're VERY busy right now! _________________ Anita
