Can Garmin i3 TRACK the route? (journey logging)

I found that my streetpilot sometimes can't figure out the update routine or changed routine because of local construction, how can i make it 'track' the routine I have created myself?

i think i understand you correctly...

basically, no you can't save a set route on the i3, you'll just have to keep ignoring it's 'recalculating' while you take the detour around the roadworks

someone else will have to answer that one... i know some can keep a track of where you've been but i'm not sure which.

yes you can get a hand held garmin units what let you back track and store routes and way points.
look for Garmins eTrex vista cx and Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx to name a few
