I have a new TomTom One GB, great unit, very happy with it, but I wish TomTom would give you greater customisation control over the device. Specifically for me, I want to hear Speed Camera Alert sounds but NOT the "Turn Left" voice navigation instructions audio.
I'm guessing this could be done by replacing the audio files with files that are simply blank, but is there a more elegant way of acheiving this?
I did do a search for this before posting; thanks in advance for your help. |

Yep - just load and select the silent voice - or alteratively, if you don't want to route, just use in 'driveabout' (no route in operation) mode...

Beware that if you do this, and your camera warnings are set to "Warn only when on route", you will not get ANY warnings. |
