How do I COMPLETELY reset the Tom Tom Go to how it was when it left the factory. I have tried dooing it from the cd but it doesnt correct the problem. I am getting no satellite signals...even standing out in the garden, and if I finally do get a signal..after a while the menu flicks up.. then off again... its all over the place. |

Try pressing and holding the reset button in for 30 seconds then see if it will power up - Mike |

Just a couple of ideas, Janice.
Now that you've factory reset the GO, it'll probably take at least 20 minutes of being in a good reception area to re-acquire all the satellites, before it shows your current location.
Also, can I suggest that the menus coming and going might possibly be the removable bezel round the screen pressing onto the screen, possibly by something being wedged under the bezel ?
If you follow the instructions to remove the bezel, then power-up, it should be obvious if that problem has been solved; then carefully clean and replace the bezel. _________________ Getting older and more senile by the minute !
