IGOPoiExplorer doesn't work on my machine (it's bit old)
Is there any other software that can import/export POI's to IGO.db format |

Hi
Dont know if this topic is still open, but I hope this helps someone anyway.
I simply d/loaded the latest POIEDIT, d/oaded the TomTom OV2 database from pocketgps(complete 24 files). Ran the Batch convert tool in POIEDIT with the output files set to MioMapv3/IGO Binary(upd). I then transferred the resulting files to the Speedcam folder in IGO/POI on my sd card. Lo & behold ! I now have all speedcams & audio warnings on my map. |

Nice post Mark.
Did this overwrite any personal POI's saved in IGO.db or do these files sit independently elsewhere? _________________ Garmin i3 gone (sold on eBay)

No it didnt overwrite anything & the files seem to sit independently in the Speedcam folder with no mention of them in the IGO.db file in My Documents. All that happens is that when approaching a camera I get a semi transparent pic of the cam on the screen with the speed limit & distance & a repeating beep that gets faster the closer I get, unless I,m over the limit then it makes a strange persistant & annoying warning sound. |
