Can you give us some idea as to what the Error Message is. ;) _________________ Richard

hi, which particular download is your problem with as you have tried downloading every type of tomtom home file (twice) as well as every type of tomtom ov2 download!
how far into the download do you get? i.e. are you prompted to save the file? does it download? what software are you opening the file with etc?

I downloaded the tomtom home version for the tomtom one.It downloads fine, the problem comes up when you try and install through tomtom home.I downloaded the ov2 version that works fine. But the home version is corrupt on file pocketgpsworld_standard_files.cab. I use winrar 3.62 to unzip the files, never had a problem before till this update.

As a test, I just tried downloading:
TomTom Home / Consolidated by type.
Saved .zip archive to desktop - OK
Opened archive with Windows XP built-in utility.
Extracted all files to folder on desktop - OK.
Folder contains:
pocketgpsworld_standard_files.cab - which is 401kB
pocketgpsworld_standard_files.toc - which is 1kB
(as well as the release.txt, Lcence.txt, gatso.jpg and _Need_Help.htm files)
Are you seeing the proper file extensions, as you don't mention them?
I don't have a copy of Home here to try them in that (never use it) but they don't look corrupt upto this stage... |

I've now cleared out my copy & MaFt has uploaded a new copy - see the other thread. Can you try to extract the files? _________________ Jock
