Hi,
I'm looking at getting TomTom Navigator 6 for my i-mate Jam. But I want to install it from my computer (Mac, running OS10.4) rather than on an SD card.
The only one I can find with a DVD is this one:-
http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=140647
Does anyone know if this contains all of the FULL UK maps, as well as europe? I just want the UK maps, with full postcode search etc. I wondered if this was just contained a cut-down UK map? And can I install it onto my Jam from my Mac, onto my current SD card.
Thanks for any help. |

I believe the DVD has a seamless Map of Western Europe, the Canary Isles and each individual Country with intergrated Major Roads of Europe (similar to the V5 Plus Maps).
It can be bought from TT for 120 Euros, about £80. _________________ Richard

Thanks. So the Maps of Western Europe version contains exactly the same full detailed UK maps as the dedicated UK one (on SD card)?
And, I can install it from my Mac?
Thanks! |

Great, thanks. I just wondered if it contained a cut-down version, whereas the "UK" one had a more detailed one.
But if they're both the same (and I can navigate to a FULL UK postcode), I'll order it now. |

Is that because you've got the whole of WE loaded on? I'll just be loading the GB map from the WE version.
But yes, you can download GB and Republic of Ireland v 6.6 from the TomTom website. |
