I have the faithful Navman ICN520. It's met my needs for a long time until this week.

I've had trouble downloading the speed camera database. When I went to "Manage my POI's" in my SmartST Desktop I found triplicates of all my files and also things that shouldn't be there. Decided time for a full format and reinstall.

Everything has gone ok except that the POI's that are built into the system have gone and I still have trouble installing My POI's to the system and each time I check them I have 2 or 3 of the same files.

Anyone got any idea's what the heck is wrong and also how to rectify the problem. Navman customer support is rather poor at answering this query and any query in general.

Have you got a back-up of your software (File - Backup or File - Restore) in SmartST?)

Have you tried looking at the contents of your Navman via My Computer on your PC (MS Sync - Mobile Device) ? From here you could get rid of the unwanted files and duplicates...
