Hi,
I have a a Legend C and I'm thinking of getting a copy of Euro CN v8.
If I select just 2 maps from the area where I live and also include the auto routing data it is just too much to fit into my unit. It is only a recommendation by Mapsource to include the routing data.
If I don't include the auto routing data I can get more maps in.
My question is really - will I still be able to use the route calculation built into the Legend C if I don't transfer the routing data from my PC?
Will the auto calculation just take longer?
If I don't transfer would the calulations be based on the Euro base map (which is what I'm trying to improve upon)?
Thanks

You can buy the same maps in MetroGuide Europe v8 for £40 off eBay.
They require no unlock codes and the MapTiles are smaller [so you can get more choice of the areas to load]
AutoRouting is not 'standard' on MetroGuide but it can be 'manipulated' to give autorouting[thereby requiring more memory, but not as much as CN v8] |

I now have a copy of MG Europe v8 and can load maps to my unit that support auto routing - great news.
I also have the UK speed camera overlay in MapSource.
However, I cannot seem to get the speed camera overlay and the auto routing maps into the unit at the same time.
If I load the auto routing maps first and then use IMG2GPS to load the speed camera overlay, I only get the speed camera overlay in the unit.
If I load the speed camera overlay first and then load the auto routing maps, I only get the auto routing maps.
If I include the speed camera overlay when I generate the auto routing image file then auto routing doesn't work correctly.
Any ideas how I can load both the speed camera overlay and the auto routing maps at the same time?
Cheers
