with the tomtom nav 2 and an iaq 2210.... and the in car kit .. can iset it up to just display GPS data - speed, direction, altitude, OS grid etc ..
i'm thinking i could have it displaying this info when i'm not actually navigating, just playing ( i know the way to my mother's house) but it's interesting to keep an eye on altitude, speed etc.
basically, will the ipaq mimic my old magellan tracker ? |

i'll give that a try thanks ... don't suppose you know if the antenna that comes with the car kit can be mounted externally ? |

Sorry no I don't.
I'm using a sapphire 'mouse' on the dash, behind taxdisc holder, through a heat reflective screen, and normally get 6-10 sat's!  |
