Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi All!
I am a complete Newbie to this SatNav thing, and don't understand all of the tech jargon here, so I am hoping that someone kind will lay down some simple step by step answers to the following questions!
1. I have the N20's speed camera database up and running, but obviously, this will not be up to date. How do I easily update it please? Step by step remember!
2. The first time I used it, it took me to a roundabout that had recently been modified, and it directed me to the wrong exit! Is there anywhere with 'free' updated maps?
I would be very grateful if someone could help me ASAP.

1) Is that the database supplied by Navman? If so, you will need to subscribe to receive updates. If you mean the camera database from this site, you will need to take out Membership in order to download the database. A link to the subscription details are on the left of the scrfeen in red.
No, no free maps I'm afraid. Navman have, in the past, provided an annual map update but this is a cost item. _________________ Tim
On the issue of recent road changes - you will find that new and changed roads takes up to 3 years to become avalible on the in car devices. Theres been a lot of discussion around this in previous posts, and although far from ideal, is the reality of the world we live in. Hopefuly in furture this time will be reduced, but it will never be instantant. The problem is industry wide, Navman is not the only one affected.
