Suddenly, when trying to download 6.52, I get the message telling me to Log In. What am I doing wrong. How do I log in. I succesfully downloaded 6.51 with no problems. I have Emailed TomTom and their suggestion is that I may have problems working through a Router. But surely there must be loads of people out there, working on Home Networks. I have even turned my FireWall off. But still with no success.

Has any one out there had the same problem??

I wait with baited breath!

If you look at the bottom left of the home screen you will see a button that says login, this is what they mean. When you login first time you have to create an account.

I am getting the same problem, and the same answer from TomTom. I have tried an trace on the sweet.tomtom.com server from three machines on differnet ISP's and it times out everytime.

I am not convinced of the router argument.

Thanks

Simon

If you look in Program Files/TomTom HOME there is a File called ServerError.txt

The first line of the Body Text will tell you what the error is.

Have a look at THIS and it might be of some help.

Hi

Had a look at the link and this is the error I am getting:

SERVER ERROR (Sat Nov 04 10:34:18 2006):

connection error
Request: ServiceDiscoveryRequest. Reply: ServiceDiscoveryReply
Server: "sweet.tomtom.com". Path: "/cens/sweet/sd/"

My Windows firewall is configured to allow TTH out. And I have had no problems with any other site or auto updater.

Running tracert from the command line on the sweet.tom.tom server shows the following:

Tracing route to sweet.tomtom.com [193.173.148.210]

It then carries on timing out. So it looks like the connection problem is beyond the router(?)

Dont know if this helps. In the end I downloaded the upgrade from your site - worked great. Thank you :D
